We are excited to announce the General Release of FedEx Shipment Visibility Webhooks. This release offers a new paid subscription experience that can enhance your operational efficiency in supporting your customer’s experience.


Features & Enhancements

  • Near Real -Time Shipment Updates:
    • Subscribe to Webhooks with your Account to unlock reliable, event-driven tracking updates that are tailored specifically to the tracking activity of your shipping account number. Stay ahead of the game with real-time insights, all designed to boost your efficiency!
    • Subscribe to webhooks using your tracking numbers and effortlessly manage specific shipment events you want to track and receive notifications for up to 1000 tracking numbers per request. Enabling you to only get the updates that matter most to you and take control of your shipments like never before!

  • Access Usage Information
    You now have the ability to view unique shipment count information directly within the FedEx Developer Portal (FDP). This enhancement provides greater visibility and accessibility to monitor your usage data without the need for external tools or additional steps.

  • Picture Proof of Delivery Attempt (PPODA)
    Enhance transparency for missed deliveries by allowing you to verify delivery attempts with a photo. This feature boosts your confidence in managing delivery inquiries and resolving disputes effectively.

    Easily request missed events from the last 7 days with just a few clicks. This improvement gives you flexibility and convenience to retrieve critical data on demand to keep your operations running smoothly.

    To keep sensitive address information secure, the street lines and postal code fields in the address nodes of the shipment visibility webhook payload will be masked for all track number subscriptions. This change will help protect the privacy of recipients while still allowing you to receive essential tracking information.
