Connect with your channel manager

As a member of the FedEx Compatible program, your channel manager can help you get set up on the FedEx Developer Portal. Reach out to them for assistance, if you don't know who your channel manager is, contact your company administrator.

Choose the API(s) you would like to include in your project.

Ship, Rate &
other APIs

You can use our Ship, Rate, and other APIs individually or combine them in a way that best meets your needs.

Track API

Use our Track API to get timely and accurate tracking information. This API includes transaction quotas.

Give your project a name, you can always make changes to your project name later

Choose the API(s) that you want to be included in your project. Note that some APIs must be certified before you can move to production, and the level of certification varies by API. Learn more about API certification.

Billing account needed

You need atleast one account added to your organization to create a Track API project.
Visit Manage organization to add an account.

Your organization does not currently have a U.S.-based billing account. 

You will need to add a U.S.-based billing account to your organization to pay for potential overage fees. You can open a new account at fedex.com anytime and then add it to your organization.

Contact your organization administrator to create a new U.S.-based billing account and add it to your organization so you can continue creating your project.

Track API projects require a U.S.-based billing account to cover any potential overage fees. Each month we will mail an invoice for any overage fees to the billing address for the account. This is the default billing account for your organization.

    API Certification

    Select APIs must be certified by FedEx before you can move to production. The level of  certification can vary by API. See the certification requirements for the APIs you selected below. Note that Shipping Label certification can take up to 5 days.
