FedEx AIV Platform Enhancements
We’re pleased to share the upcoming enhancements with the FedEx Advanced Integrated Visibility platform and FedEx Developer Portal (FDP), designed to improve account flexibility, pricing visibility, and shipment tracking accuracy.
As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline operations and improve customer experience, the following features deployed on 27th September 2025
Feature Highlights
1. Interchangeable Use of Billing and Shipping Account Numbers
This feature introduces flexible account usage across all personas (Shipper, CSP, 3P) within an organization, improving operational efficiency and visibility.
Key Capabilities:
- Flexible Account Usage: Billing and shipping account numbers can be used interchangeably within the same organization.
- Improved Visibility: All account numbers are shown in the Project Overview screen for better tracking.
2. Webhook Usage Reporting - Unique Track Numbers Subscribed
Customers can now access usage data (unique track numbers subscribed via webhook) under their project on FedEx Developer Portal.
Defect Fixes:
Subscription API Error During Edit Operation for 3P Customers
We have resolved an issue where users encountered an error during the edit operation for third-party (3P) customers. The system incorrectly prompted users to accept the software distribution terms, even though the softwareDistributionTermsAccepted flag was already set to true. This has now been fixed and edit operations for 3P customers proceed as expected.

All enhancements listed above are deployed on 27th September 2025. Customers will be notified in advance of any changes that may impact on integration or workflows.
