Resolved: Partial Service Disruption – Tracking Number Association API

On May 19, 2026, we experienced a partial service disruption affecting the Tracking Number Association API. Some customers may have encountered issues adding tracking numbers to Advanced Integrated Visibility (AIV) Webhook subscriptions. Our monitoring systems detected the issue promptly, and our teams worked immediately to resolve it.

Impact:

POST requests to the endpoint below returned HTTP 500 errors: https://apis.fedex.com/webhook/v1/subscriptions/trackingnumbers/association
Customers were unable to add new tracking numbers during the incident.
Existing subscriptions and previously added tracking numbers were unaffected.

Cause:

A validation constraint caused the endpoint to reject new tracking number association requests.

Remediation:

The issue has been fixed, and the API is operating normally. Impacted requests are being reprocessed to ensure data completeness. No action is required from you.
