Smarter Hold at Location (HAL) Filtering in the Locations Search API
We’re excited to share a major upgrade to the Locations Search API that gives you more control and precision when identifying Hold at Location (HAL) sites. With our new filters, you can now go beyond basic weight and dimensions to match shipments to locations based on declared value, customs value, package type, count, and even special handling needs.

By sending this extra information up front, the API returns a more accurate list of eligible HAL sites, helping you avoid delays, reduce errors, and improve delivery success rates.
