The response to a successful Search Harmonized Code Data request has changed.
A response now returns the country code, country type, and a subheadingOptions array that contains up to four possible matches sorted by the system's confidence. Each item in the array has an HS classification code, name, customs description, and up to four possible tarriff alternates. Previously, the response provided information for the best HS match at the top level of the response, and other possible matches in an alternates array.

Introduced V2 of the Harmonized System Code Classification API, which includes a new version of the Search Harmonized Code Data endpoint. Use this endpoint to retrieve a harmonized code based on a description of the commodity and a destination or origin country.
The Get Harmonized Code Details and Search Harmonized Code Data endpoints for V1 of this API are deprecated.
