Overview

Our Advanced Integrated Visibility webhook is a premium integration capability that enables you to subscribe to FedEx account number or tracking number to receive near real-time in-transit shipment events, from label creation to delivery of packages, including Picture Proof of Delivery. Subscriptions are currently available for US-based shipment accounts only.

  • Rebranding: To better reflect their expanded capabilities, several key features have been renamed:
    • "Shipment Visibility Webhook" is now Advanced Integrated Visibility.

  • GPS Proof of Delivery (POD) Enhancements: GPS POD is now available in the US and CA for all inbound shipments from the EU and LAC except APAC. To improve the GPS POD accuracy, we leveraged GPS data from the PPOD (Picture Proof of Delivery) and SPOD (Signature Proof of Delivery) events.

New Advanced Integrated Visibility Schema Introduced

  • Implemented a leaner, more intuitive Advanced Integrated Visibility schema.
  • Schema changes are now easily identifiable and updatable through the mapper tool.

Enhanced Retry Functionality

  • Retry mechanism now supports reprocessing of failed events from the last 7 days, significantly improving event reliability and traceability.

New Features Added

  • Introduced PPODA (Picture Proof of Delivery Attempt) to enhance visibility and monitoring of delivery attempts.

Workflow Optimization

  • Removed underutilized features such as pause and resume functions.
  • Payload translations have been discontinued to streamline processing.

 

These changes aim to enhance performance, reduce complexity, and improve overall API efficiency.

Subscribe by Tracking Number or Account Number.

Tracking Number.

 

When you subscribe by Tracking Number, we’ll push near real-time tracking event updates that are matched to the tracking numbers that you provide through API endpoints.

Account Number.

 

When you subscribe by Account Number, we’ll push near real-time tracking event updates for every shipment matched with your subscribed accounts (inbound, outbound, or bill to third party). You can add Account Numbers via Developer Portal UI or API end points.
